Day 1 β Yosemite Valley Deep Dive

- β’Lower Yosemite Fall Trail (1 mi loop, easy) β powerful in spring
- β’Bridalveil Fall Trail (0.5 mi round trip) β quick and gorgeous
- β’El Capitan Meadow β watch climbers on the big wall with binoculars
πEvening: Groveland Dinner
- β’Return to Groveland and dine at Charlotte Bistro for an upscale evening

Pro Tip: Bring layers β the Valley floor can be 20Β°F cooler than Groveland, especially near waterfalls.
Day 2 β Glacier Point & Mariposa Grove
π Morning: Glacier Point
- β’Drive to Glacier Point (1 hour from Valley, open late MayβOctober)
- β’Jaw-dropping 3,200-foot overlook of Half Dome, Vernal & Nevada Falls, and the high Sierra
- β’Short walks along the rim β Taft Point trail (2.2 mi round trip) for thrill-seekers
βοΈMidday: Sentinel Dome
- β’Hike Sentinel Dome (2.2 mi round trip, moderate) for a full 360Β° panorama
- β’Picnic lunch with views that go on forever
π€οΈAfternoon: Mariposa Grove
- β’Drive to Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias (southern end of the park)
- β’Walk among the ancient giants β the Grizzly Giant is 1,800+ years old
- β’Grizzly Giant Loop (2 mi) or full grove hike (6.5 mi) depending on energy
πEvening: Celebrate
- β’Dinner at Evergreen Lodge β rustic elegance surrounded by pines
- β’Stargazing from the cabin deck β the Milky Way is spectacular here
Pro Tip: Glacier Point Road opens late May and closes with first snow (usually November). Check conditions before heading up.
